Happy New Year from all of us at NIMA! As we begin 2026, we’re excited about the momentum building across the Northwest I-90 manufacturing community and the opportunities ahead. This year will focus on collaboration, innovation, and helping manufacturers stay competitive in a rapidly changing industry.
Our team at the Northwest I-90 Manufacturing Alliance is already in full planning mode for our annual conference in Coeur d’Alene on May 26–27. The event will once again feature a strong cross-sector focus, with speakers covering topics ranging from AI and robotics to the outlook for Boeing and the aviation industry—along with plenty of opportunities to connect with peers, customers, and partners.
We’re especially excited to welcome our keynote speaker, Chris Wood, an Eastern Washington native and world-renowned expert in lean manufacturing. Chris will share real-world insights on applying lean principles to complex, highly customized projects, along with compelling visuals that bring these concepts to life. We look forward to an engaging and inspiring year ahead.
